Meredith Stimson 

Meredith Stimson is the owner/ head trainer at Yorkfield Farm since 2002. She started riding at the young age of 7 when she got her first small pony, U-Key. Shortly after, she outgrew her and aquired her second large pony, Luka. Meredith then started her show career in the junior hunter and big eq rings with her first trainer Yvette Kuzirian of Pendleton Farm, taking many top places. Yvette introduced her to competing many sale horses in all three rings until buying her first jumper mare, Wild About Lil (Nijinsky / Northern Dancer) who she competed in the jumper ring. Later, Wild About Lil was bred to a Holsteiner stallion, Cosmos (Cor de la Bryere / Calypso II) with the product of her jumper mare, Madison Avenue III (Cosmos / Wil About Lil). Meredith now competes with the Zangersheid gelding Connue Z (Continue/ Gwedisa) and Michelle Mancini's Dutch mare Unique in the jumper ring and Carolyn Reed's Westphalian hunter gelding Val, along with client horses from the Baby Greens and Pre Greens to the jumper ring. Meredith has ridden with and participated in many clinics with Schulyer Riley, Michael Page, Irving Evans, Mark Jungherr, Nona Garson, Jeff Cook, Fergus O'Connor (IRE.), Cory Hardy, and Bradley Cain. Meredith currently rides under the tutelage of Schuyler Riley and Michael Meller. Meredith obtains a bachelors degree in Data Communications, Telephony and Electricity & Electronics and is also a member of USEF, USHJA and an active board member of NHHJA. You will find Meredith Stimson and Yorkfield Farm students competing at HITS, WEF, Vermont Summer Festival, Fidelity, Fieldstone, Westbrook, Mystic Valley and Medal Finals .
