Lessons

We offer riding instruction for all levels and ages in Hunter/Jumpers. Whether you are a serious competitor or want to learn basic horsemanship, we have a program suitable for you.

Rates:

• $30.00 - 30 Minutes Private.
• $40.00 - Group 1 Hour Session.
• $50.00 - 1 Hour Private.

Boarding

• All day grass turn/out.
• Large outdoor jumping field.
• Indoor Arena with Rubber Chip Footing
• ½ mile track surrounding a regulation sized, groomed polo field.
• Scattered Cross Country jumps throughout the property.
• Cross Country Trails.
• Access to miles of trails.
• Indoor wash stall with hot & cold water.
• Outdoor wash stall.
• Heated tack room.
• 10’X12’ rubber matted box stalls. Larger stalls occasionally available.

We do not charge extra for equipping your horses with protective gear for turn/ out. We also schedule all Veterinarian, Dental, and Farrier work needed to be done. You’re welcome to have your own, however you must do any scheduling, Stalling includes:

• Quality Grain
• Supplementing, you supply your own.
• Free choice hay.
• Ample bedding.
• Turn-out in our luscious pastures with plenty of fresh water.
• Full Board: $700.00

Summer Camp

Yorkfield Farm also offers a few camp sessions over the summer. Camps fill up quickly, because we offer it to students in our lesson program first. A day at camp will include:

• General Barn Chores.
• Formal Lesson in the morning.
• Show Preparation.
• Games & Activities.
• Fun Group Rides.
• Swimming.
• A weekly Pizza Party.
• And lots of Fun! Hours are 9am-3pm.
• $300.00 weekly per person.

Training

Meredith Stimson is the head trainer/ instructor and manager of Yorkfield Farm. She has ridden with many exceptional trainers as a junior competing in the Hunters and Equitation. Her head turned towards the Jumpers although still performing in the Hunter ring. She actively competes from Baby Greens to upper level jumpers from Maine to Florida.

Training Rates:

$1100 monthly - includes full board and schooling Four times per week from starting youngsters to polishing Hunter/ Jumpers.
$25.00/ per session additional, separate schooling.
